The battery of my Galaxy Tab device is not charging? What should I do?

Please check if you are trying to charge the battery via a USB Lead connected to your PC or Laptop.
It is not possible to charge the Galaxy Tab via a PC using a USB cable.
The battery icon will show a “red cross” when the device is connected to a PC via a USB cable.
If so, please switch over to using the Mains Charger supplied with your device.
