I am unable to stream videos using DLNA on my TV?
Important Note: The information on this page is for Hong Kong products only. Models, sequences or settings will vary depending on location and/or where the product had been purchased. To be redirected to your local support page please click here.
DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) certified devices allow you to watch pictures, music and videos saved on your PC or on your TV through a network connection. This removes the need to copy them to a USB storage device and then connect the device to your TV. If you are unable to stream videos on your TV it could be for one of the following reasons:
- You may be using an adaptor that may not be compatible with your Samsung TV. Use the Samsung Wireless LAN Adaptor (WIS09ABGN). The adaptor is sold separately.
- You may be trying to stream large files. To play content from the PC on your TV and to share files, check that there is enough hard disk space is available on your TV.
- The files may not be in supported formats. Supported formats are AVI, MKV, ASF, MP4, 3GPP, PS and TS container.
If the above information does not match what your product is showing, you may check the User Manual for your product. If you are unable to solve the problem, please contact us for further assistance.
